Yesterday, I did an approximately 5km morning walk. At first I was kinda lazy and wanted to stay in bed but the weather was so nice I decided to walk. I left the house at 8.30 a.m., it looked as if it was still 7 a.m., and walked to the Pink Kebaya Restaurant to buy breakfast. It felt good, I think I was walking for almost an hour as the clock showed 9.30 a.m. when I got back.
We went to Rafiq's office in the afternoon to get ourselves the H1N1 vaccination. Alhamdulillah there were not many people so we could go in as soon as we registered. I expected that Faiq will make a fuss. He wailed (the famous act), and only stopped when we told him that Aira only cried for a while. Aira was so content sucking away the lollipop that the doctor gave her that she drooled all over herself..hahaha! We later went to a restaurant in Kerinchi for lunch. I think the name of the restaurant is Rozita and it sells authentic Malay food as Rafiq called it. We had ayam percik, ikan singgang, lala masak kari, pecal and siput sedut masak lemak. I have never eaten siput sedut in my life and I didn't try it but was surprised when Faiq asked for it. I'm like, "BIAR BENAR!" It was indeed fascinating to watch the adventerous side of Faiq who happily sucked on the snails from its shell.
After lunch, we went back home for prayers, dropped Aira and went to JJ Cheras Selatan to watch Shrek Forever After. I can tell that Faiq enjoyed it coz he sat still throughout the movie. I think my favourite character was Puss, whom in the movie, became Fiona's fat pet cat (the cut the story short, Shrek signed a treaty with evil Rumplestiltskin to be an ogre for a day, a day of his lilfe he couldn't remember so it was as if everything we saw in Shrek 1-3 never happened).
That's all folks. As of 10 a.m., Faiq and Aira are still asleep as both of them had fever due to the vaccination. Ciao!
