Labour Day Weekend in Kuantan - Day 3

Rafiq went for a jog and I took the opportunity to pack our stuffs before the rest of them woke up. The morning agenda was basically breakfast at the hotel and swimming pool and we did just that. We checked out at about 11 a.m., went to Tanjung Api and Mok Naa for seafood, home made keropok lekor and take-away satar before heading to Singgalang Jaya Restaurant for Nasi Padang. Rafiq chose the menu and I honestly didn’t know the name of the dishes except that it was delicious! Ana and her kids joined us for lunch.

Before we left Kuantan, we stopped by at Ida’s house. Met her parents and chatted for a while. Ida was lucky that we just had our lunch or Rafiq would’ve asked her to fry some keropok and make tea for us…hehehe. Ida gave us jambu air, bananas, kuinin and mangga muda which came from her orchard! Thanks Ida, all of them were yummy and in our tummies..hihi! We stopped by at Gambang for some dried keropok and headed back home.

It was great to meet up with Ida and Ana and we enjoyed our short trip. Come to think of it, this is the 3rd time we’ve visited Kuantan during Labour Day. Maybe it will remain as our favourite Labour Day destination in years to come.
