This weekend is the most busiest weekend for me. We had made plans for both days and it started with Hasya's aqiqah. Hasya Arya is Hani's first newborn, and she was born in late March 2009. Rafiq had made prior cycling plans with his friend so it was me, the kids and my maid. On the way to Hani's house, we saw a fatal accident, after the BESRAYA toll, involving a lorry and a motorcycle. I reckoned it just happened because there were only about 20 or so cars infront of us when the traffic started slowing down. When we passed the accident scene, we saw two bodies laying motionless on the road in a pool of blood. I couldn't wait to drive pass the scene. I arrived at Hani's house at about 12.45 noon. At the time, the marhaban ceremony had not ended because it started late to begin with. Then Ija arrived with Abang An, followed by Suzie and her family. We didn't get to eat together because we had to tend to our families. The food was excellent! After we had our meals, we gathered and chatted and teased Hani, as usual..hehehe. Fariz arrieved as we were about to leave at 2 p.m.
Hani & Don with Hasya
It started to rain when I reached home. Rafiq was already back from his cycling trip with Fadil. We then packed for our night stay in Kajang and went to visit my parents in D.U. No one was at home except for my dad and aunty Leela. After a hearty meal and exchange of news, we left D.U before 7 p.m. and made our way to Pavillion for dinner with Rafiq's college mate back in RMC. George Charles Ubod, nicknamed Ubod was Rafiq's dorm mate throughout his college life (except when they were in Form Four) so they were very close. He has been residing abroad for 5 years now and is back for 2 weeks holiday. He is a really funny guy and it was a pleasure to meet him. Another college mate, Kitol and his wife also joined us. We dined at Tony Roma's and proceeded to TGIF to watch the soccer match between MU and Arsenal, disguised in the form of dessert..hehehe.
The gals at TGIF
Mine! All mine!
The guys catched up until the match ended and as both Faiq and Aira were getting restless, we left Pavillion, picked up our maid at home and went to Kajang. We arrived in Kajang at about 11 p.m. We were supposed to sleep early as the next day will be a big day for Rafiq but we only settled down at about 12.30 a.m.
Will be blogging about Sunday soon!
